APPLICATIONS A typical application has been demonstrated i.e. White Spaces for Dspace. Future efforts will expand on this and we call for partners. Other apps in health, agriculture, security and navigation will be explored. Promoting Universal ICT Access 13 th March 2014 26

CONCLUSION As a concluding thought, the immediate key use case for White Spaces in Malawi will be Rural Internet access where the use of TV broadcast spectrum is sparse. Regulations are yet to be put in place with most notable trend towards Dynamic Spectrum Allocation. Promoting Universal ICT Access
