Members of the US Armed Forces dedicate themselves to protecting those liberties so that we may live as our forefathers envisioned. Deutsches Altenheim is proud to care for many individuals who served in the military during times of conflict and of peace. For the past four years, on Veterans Day, we recognized their contributions to our nation when we unveiled four installations of the "Wall of Honor". If you or your loved one served in the military, we hope you will consider adding to our display on the 5th installation of the "Wall of Honor", which will be dedicated on Veterans Day 2015. A ceremony honoring members of the US Armed Forces will be held in the German Centre Lobby on Wednesday, November 11 at 10:30 am. A small reception will precede the program at 9:30 am. We hope you will plan to join us. For more info, contact Carol Kelly, 617-390-3214. In Fond Remembrance We extend our condolences to the families of the 5

following residents who have passed since our last Happenings: Mary Connolly Doris Iodice Mary Stuppy Eva Wallerstein LET US ENTERTAIN YOU! Looking for a toe-tapping time? Stop by the German Centre lobby on select Thursday nights at 6:15 for Evening Melodies. Local performers serenade residents and guests with all the classics.
