Students desirous of participation are required give their entries the Teacher In- charge up 15.10.2012 This is also be noted that a student is permitted participate in not more than two events in each category i.e. 2 in sports / games and 2 in Cultural / Literary events. For the purpose of Stage Cultural Events on Cultural evening, MOSAIC 2012 SCREENING WILL BE CONDUCTED at the Faculty level by the screening committee of the respective faculty constituted / authorized by the Dean and only two short listed entries from the faculty for each stage events will be entertained. except for the skit, wherein, only one team entry will be eligible from each faculty. Screening committee ( while keeping the record of script of performances etc. ) may please ensure that none of the performance contain any indecent dialogue / remarks, which may hurt the sentiments of any community, religion, region and gender. Deans of the respective faculties are also requested get the screening done for General Quiz, Seerat Quiz, & Bait-Bazi shortlist only one team from their faculty ( For General Quiz, Seerat Quiz, & Bait-Bazi only one team comprising of three students from each faculty will be entertained ). After particular event is completed the Teacher In-Charge/s are requested submit the results the office of the DSW ( located at basement of Nano Technology Building ) for their inclusion in the final Prize Distribution list. R U L E S / R E G U L A T I O N S & G U I D E L I N E S F O R L I T E R A R Y / C U L T U R A L & S P O R T S W E E K ( 16th OCTOBER 2011 21st OCTOBER 2012 ) 1. Only one team is eligible from each Faculty duly approved by the concerned Dean for participation in team events. 2. Each student is eligible for participation in any Two Sports events and only two from Literary / Cultural / Creative events. 3. Games will start as per scheduled time and date notified by Sports Committee. The candidates should report five minutes before the schedule time the Teacher in charge. If the participant does not report in time, the respective game event will proceed ahead the next participant. 4. Players are advised come with their own equipments for practice. Sports materials will be provided during the notified matches. 5. All the students are required submit their entries Convener / concerned teacher of the respective event latest by 15th Ocber 2012; thereafter, no entries will be entertained. Accordingly all concerned teacher In-charge are requested convene a meeting regarding respective event and plan conduct the event accordingly. The Mobile numbers of Cultural Coordinar and the Sports Secretary are mentioned below for effective coordination. 6. All the players are required follow the rules & regulations maintain the decorum & discipline during the Sports/ Cultural / Literary events. In case of any non-compliance of rules & guidelines, suitable action will be initiated by university disciplinary action committee. 7. The decision of the Umpire/ Refries / Judges will be final and binding on the participants. However, in case of any genuine dispute the same will
be solved by Dispute solving Committee / General Administration Committee. 8. Students are advised take all precautions avoid injuries during the games. 9. Concerned Teacher in-charge are requested complete the events within scheduled fixed dates / timings, and submit the authenticated & signed result sheet the DSW or Sports Secretary or Cultural Coordinar for the Sports & Cultural / Literary activities respectively. 10. In the MOSAIC 2012, at Library on 20 th & 21st th Ocber 2012, all the students are required carry their Identity Cards along with them, and shall provide it the concerned authorities of University on demand. It s required from the students maintain the decorum for the smooth functioning of the program.
