Financial Services The Board of Studies NSW developed a new Financial Services Curriculum Framework for implementation from Year 11, 2012. The Financial Services Curriculum Framework is based on the national Financial Services Training Package (FNS10) and includes pathways to: Certificate III in Accounts Administration (FNS30310) Certificate III in Financial Services (FNS30110) Certificate II in Financial Services (FNS20110) (available only for school-based traineeships) The courses are for students who want to get some entry level accounting qualifications. Hospitality Why study Hospitality? Hospitality focuses on providing customer service. Skills learned can be transferred across a range of industries. Workplaces for which Hospitality competencies are required include cafes, catering organisations and resorts. Health Services Assistance This TVET course was developed to provide an opportunity for years 11& 12 students to access nursing courses that can result in employment in nursing as well as a career pathway in nursing. Employment pathways may include working in the field of assistants in nursing, nursing assistants, nursing support work, patient service attendants, patient support assistant, and patient care assistants. The course reflects the role of an assistant to a registered nurse caring for clients in acute care.
