SPONSOR an event what is In 2017, the irail event held in conjunc on with the Rail Forum East Midlands at Pride Park Stadium in Derby, celebrated it s 9th year and saw students from 15 schools across the Derby area come together to take part in site visits to Bombardier and Network Rail and meet with rail related companies in an informal careers fair environment and complete a rail challenge. In 2018, we are building on the success seen over those last 9 years at the Derby event by both expanding the programme into Birmingham and Crewe and extending the reach to include college and university students in the careers fair element of the day. This will extend the student reach to around 1,200 students across the three venues and is a great way to engage young people and showcase careers in the rail industry, but we couldn t do it without your support and involvement, we need exhibitors and judges to take part in the event, you can find more details below.
