A registrant must choose Corporate PhD, MD/PhD, MD (Basic Scientist) if he/she is employed by a for profit company. Ph.D. candidates (except allied health professionals) and post doctoral fellows should choose this discipline and see paragraph below under Students/Fellows for further instructions. Academic MD, MD/PhD (Clinician) or Corporate MD, MD/PhD (Clinician) if a registrant is a physician or physician assistant who is primarily a clinician or clinical researcher. A registrant must choose Corporate MD, MD/PhD (Clinician) if he/she is employed by a for profit company. Medical students and clinical fellows should choose this discipline and see paragraph below under Students/Fellows for further instructions. Allied Health Professionals should choose their proper discipline from the list below, including those with advanced degrees (e.g., individuals with a Ph.D. but whose occupation is a nutritionist), should choose Nutritionist/Dietitian, not the "Academic or Corporate PhD, MD/PhD, MD (Basic Scientist)" category.
