Entering the Oil & Gas Awards Organizations are invited to submit entries for their chosen categories and regions in the Oil & Gas Awards through a self-nomination process. There is no charge for entering the Awards. If your organization enters the Awards and is voted a finalist by the Awards judges your organization must attend the corresponding regional Oil & Gas Awards gala dinner. Please review the costs for attending the Awards at: http://www.oilandgasawards.com/pricing and plan your budgets appropriately. It is advised that you pencil the relevant event dates into your diary for the regions your organization has entered. We also advise you may wish to prepare senior executives, so that if your organization is honored as a finalist they may wish to represent your organization at the gala dinner. Industry Supplier of the Year Award Category Criteria: The Industry Supplier of the Year Award recognizes suppliers of materials and equipment to the oil and gas and petrochemical industries throughout the region. Companies who have demonstrated reliability, gone the extra mile to provide thee sectors with impressive customer service, and shown a commitment to delivery against the odds will be rewarded. Provision of goods and services in support of upstream and midstream operations is often more challenging due to the nature of the formidable task at hand. Timeliness and ingenuity in the face of obstacles will be recognized. Entries may choose to demonstrate elements of, but are not limited to, the following: Exemplary customer service Competitive and reliable pricing structures Excellent stock availability and delivery service Specific challenges overcome Outstanding corporate citizenship including details of CSR initiatives
Preparing your Award Entry: Select the region(s) you operate in using the map guide. You may enter any regions that you are active in i.e. have operations and/or clients. You may enter multiple regions but each regional entry must be submitted separately and you should try to make it regionally specific. Familiarize yourself with the category criteria and use this to make your entry specific to the category. You may enter multiple categories but each category entry should be submitted separately. 1,500 words is the recommended maximum entry length, plus supporting documents of up to 10 pages. Bullet-format may be used to keep your entry concise. All completed entries should be sent to: enter@oilandgasawards.com When writing your entry you should consider the following: 1. Clearly state the category and region you are entering 2. Start with a brief overview of your organization (corporate bio) 3. Outline what sets your organization apart from its competitors? 4. Where possible refer to recent examples of your work in the region, specic to the category. 5. Clients may be referred to using Client A and Client B in place of their trading names if confidentiality is of importance. 6. Where applicable tell the judges about commitment to the Award s core values of health & safety, environmental stewardship, corporate social responsibility and innovation
Supporting Documentation: You may attach supporting documents to your entry, such as: Client testimonials. News/media features and editorial. Product/project specific corporate collateral. Photography. Web links and links to videos and other information are acceptable as part of an entry. Video files can also be embedded into your submissions. When attaching your supporting documentation, please consider the length and relevance to chosen category criteria. There should be no more than 10 pages of supporting documentation. What Happens Next? After the entry deadline, all entries are correlated by region and category in to judge s packs. The packs are sent to the judges for review, voting and to pass comment on. The judge s votes are correlated to define the shortlist of finalists for each region. Judging will take approximately 1 week. After the judging period the finalists will be announced on the Oil & Gas Awards website and by our association and media partners. After the finalists announcement, our events team will be in touch to deliver the finalist s logo badge and press release so finalists can promote their achievement. Finalists will also need to provide marketing assets such as high-resolution logos and corporate bios. Organizations that enter the Awards and are voted finalists by the Awards judging panel must attend the relevant Awards gala dinners for all of the regions they are voted finalist in.
