1 Girl Talk Jewels (September May) Serving middle and high school girls who have graduated from TTFS and are now honing leadership skills through workshops, community activities, fundraisers Tailoring Teens For Success (TTFS) Fall 2018 (September 2018 March 2019) based on volunteering at ONE curriculum session Serving up to 25 middle school girls in an 18-week character-building & leadership development program in uptown Charlotte space. Curriculum runs on Saturdays 10am 1pm. Curriculum is broken up into two semesters. TTFS Graduation Brunch (March) ONE DAY EVENT Serving up to 25 middle and high school girls & their families during curriculum graduation ceremony at off-site venue. 5 Committee Overview *monthly or bi-monthly one-hour s, based on need* Development (DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE) - Assist with creating, and advising on the organization's fundraising activities; able to seek and secure sponsors for various GT events/programs. Event Planning (SPECIAL EVENTS COMMITTEE) - Assist in the coordination of Girl Talk Foundation, Inc. (GTF) programs or events venue recruitment, décor, registration, contract development, printing, sponsorship acquisitions, site management. Help develop and manage (in conjunction with Executive Director, the Board, and Fundraising Committee) event budget for each event; able to oversee events/projects; able to works with administrative staff to ensure execution of event administrative requirements; evaluates and closes out events; collaborates with Program and Marketing/PR to ensure program and event success. General Volunteer Pool - Assist on site day of event where needed; serve as back up or emergency. Programming (STRATEGIC PROGRAMMING COMMITTEE)- Review and update current programs, create program agendas and strategies for program events; make recommendations for program updates; help develop evaluations. Public Relations/Marketing (MARKETING COMMITTEE ) - Assist in creating press kits, news releases as required in conjunction with Foundation programs; create marketing tools and paraphernalia. Serve as speakers bureau for GTF and represent Girl Talk at speaking engagements. Generate ideas for marketing campaigns. Volunteer Management (volunteer engagement experience required) Develops, oversees and advises on volunteer activities; creates, updates and distributes biweekly e-newsletter for volunteers and board members; assists with development of overall volunteer process. Web Management (TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE) - Make recommendations for enhancement of GTF website; make periodic updates to the website that reflect current programming details, and PR promotions; make recommendations required to resolve web issues and repairs.
