A total of 4,854 votes from 43,256 eligible members were cast in this election, representing 11.22 percent of the members eligible to vote. A total of 4,829 members voted online this year, representing approximately 99.5 percent of the total votes. A total of 25 paper ballots were received, representing approximately 0.5 percent of the total votes. Look for a state-by-state voting breakdown on page 8 in this issue of the NewsBulletin. A special supplement with complete coverage of the 2017 Nurse Anesthesia Annual Congress will be available on the AANA website this fall.
