On Sunday, July 13, 2008 the 100 Club of San Antonio is having there annual Spaghetti Dinner. The event is supported by the Christopher Columbus Italian Society. The donation is $7.00 per plate. The continuous serving of spaghetti, meatball (the best you will ever have), salad, and bread will be from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, at Columbus Hall, located at 201 Piazza Italia. There is food to go if you bring your own container. Advance tickets are on sale now, contact: Adam Zeldes at 326-9686 or Joe Salvaggio at 872-9729 The 100 Club of San Antonio was founded in July 1973 by a group of concerned citizens. Each member annually donates $100 or more to this nonprofit organization. The fund is utilized when a law enforcement officer or full time firefighter in the Bexar County area is killed or disabled in the line of duty. When a tragedy takes the life of one of these individuals, the money is used to assist the surviving spouse and dependent biological or adopted children. The 100 Club quickly delivers a check to the family to provide them with funding for their immediately incurred financial burden. In the case of dependent children, the 100 Club establishes individual trust funds. Annually these trusts are increased by the additional monies collected throughout the year from donations and membership dues. The proceeds from their trust fund is made available to the children when they become 18 years of age. Please visit the web site for more information. www.100clubofsanantonio.org YOU CAN GIVE BUT TIME AND MONEY... POLICEMEN AND FIREMEN MAY GIVE THEIR LIVES... If you or your business would like to become a member of the 100 Club or become a corporate sponsor for the event please contact me for further information. Don't forget to contact Adam Zeldes at 326-9686 or Joe Salvaggio at 872-9729 for your advanced tickets. It s a great way to buy your employees lunch! Please forward this e-mail to your friends, family, or to anyone that might be interested in helping. Thanks for your continued support. Newsletter 4
