207 Tennis 2001 Championship Highlights Streak Snapped: Sooner or later, most good things come to an end. For the Brigham Young- Hawaii Seasiders, the end came sooner than they would have liked and later than most expected. Lynn had a break-out effort, halting Brigham Young-Hawaii s 103-match win streak with a 5-3 victory in the finals. Lynn swept the doubles play. In the closest of the three matches, the duo of Maria Palacios and Maria Alves edged Amy Sun and Hana Krivonozkova, 9-7 at No. 3. In singles play, the Knights found wins at the Nos. 1, 4 and 6 spots to secure the title. The championship is the third for Lynn. The Knights won back-to-back titles in 1997 and 1998.
