Biographical Information Sharon Minjares, MBA, MS, RD, LD, Director, Wellness Institute Lake Health 7580 Auburn Road, Suite 201, Concord Twp., Ohio 44077 440-350-4512 Fax: 440-354-1045 Sharon.minjares@lakehealth.org Sharon started her career with Geauga Hospital, Chardon, Ohio in 1988 as a Clinical Nutrition Specialist Dietitian. In 1993, she joined Lake Health (formerly Lake Hospital System) as a Health Promotion Dietitian. Her primary responsibilities included development, coordinating, and implementing an adult weight management program, Healthy Heart School Program, nutrition counseling, educating Cardiac Rehab patients and providing label reading tours at local grocery stores. In 2006, Sharon became the Health Promotion Coordinator, furthering her community outreach programming. In 2010, she opened the Wellness Institute at TriPoint Medical Center. Her strong strategic management, execution and direction; has provided integrative medicine services for Lake Health team members and the community. As the Director of the Wellness Institute and a Board Member of the American Heart Association-Greater Cleveland Division; she combines her passion for food and nutrition and helping people improve their health and wellness. Sharon received her B.S.in Food and Nutrition from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois, M. S.in Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and MBA from Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. Kimberly Nathan, RN, Director of WorkWell & FirstCare Union Hospital, 340 Oxford St Suite 110, Dover Ohio 44622 330-602-0750 Kimberlyn@unionhospital.org Kimberly began her career as an emergency room nurse moving into positions as a charge nurse and ultimately a trauma program director for Conway Medical Center and Marion Regional Healthcare System, both in South Carolina. Her 25 year career has allowed her to see the effects of a culture not effectively addressing preventable risk factors such as heart disease and obesity. Kimberly most recently held the position of Nursing Supervisor at Union Hospital, prior to being named Director of WorkWell in 2007. She serves as the current chair for Healthy Tusc, President of the board for Leadership Tuscarawas and is actively involved in the Healthy Ohio Business Council. Kimberly is Registered Nurse and a graduate of Ohio Valley Hospital School of Nursing receiving her BSN in 1988.
