He is an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. Dr. Habert is also Peer Assessor for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and an Investigating Coroner for the City of Toronto. He is also a Peer Leader at OntarioMD. Dr. Habert is very involved in the continuing education of Family Physicians in the areas of Thrombosis/ Stroke, Osteoporosis, Diabetes and Depression. He has an interest in the use of clinical practice guidelines, and has participated on committees to establish guidelines in the area of Depression, Stroke and Thrombosis. He is currently on the Committee for the 2016 Canadian Stroke Prevention Guidelines. Dr. Habert is published in the areas of Thrombosis and Stroke Prevention, Depression, ADHD and EMR use in Family Practice. Dr. Sanjay Pandeya Dr. Sanjay Pandeya is a Nephrologist at Halton Healthcare and has been with us for over 15 years. He completed his medical degree at the University of Ottawa and Internal Medicine and Nephrology training at the University of Western Ontario. He is involved in teaching medical students and residents as an Assistant Clinical Professor at McMaster University. He has also served on the Executive and Board of the Canadian Society of Nephrology. He is actively involved in clinical research and has collaborated on several peer-reviewed research projects with his academic colleagues and is the Medical Director of the Kidney Care Clinic and Independent Dialysis. Dr. Eileen Rakovitch Eileen Rakovitch MD MSc FRCPC is a radiation oncologist, and an Associate Professor and Scientist at the Sunnybrook Research Institute. She is an Adjunct Scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences and is the LC Campbell Research Chair in Breast Cancer Research. She has an active clinical practice and leads a research program that aims to improve the care of women with Ductal Carcinoma in Situ and to identify women with DCIS who are at greatest risk of developing invasive breast cancer. Ms. Tracey Tremayne-Lloyd Tracey Tremayne-Lloyd (TTL), a Certified Specialist in Health Law, has practised health law for more than two decades. She is currently the Principal at TTL Health Law, a health law and consulting practice dedicated to the discipline of health Law and all of its complexities, including regular health policy in governmental restrictions. Tracey is widely recognized for her expertise in representing health professionals and providers across Canada and in the United States. A respected and sought-after speaker, she frequently delivers lectures and seminars in educational forums on topics related to medical ethics and jurisprudence. Tracey has chaired numerous events for both medical and legal associations including the Medical Legal Society Insight seminars and the Canadian Bar Association health Law programs. Conference sessions are scheduled to avoid conflict with tours and excursions as much as possible.
