Summary Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) needed for thriving Central Wisconsin private urology practice: Urology Specialists of Wisconsin, SC (USOW) is looking to add one or two physician assistants or nurse practitioners to join a thriving Central Wisconsin private practice which currently includes seven physicians and two physician assistants. USOW s main location is in Wausau, WI with 5 satellite locations in North Central Wisconsin: Rhinelander, Eagle River, Antigo, Medford and Wisconsin Rapids. The wide variety of patients and patient problems allow us to stay current with all types of urologic care. We are looking for one or two Advanced Practice Providers (APP) to develop their own clinics at our Wausau location along with 1 day per week in outreach (each less than one hour from the Wausau location). Ideal candidates will be comfortable working independently, have a passion for providing exceptional patient-centered care, and possess good judgment and excellent communication skills. APP s take first call one weekend per month and one evening per week and participate with in-patient rounding and consults. A physician is always available for back-up. This opportunity allows for significant work-life balance and mentoring. We utilize Epic EMR and have electronic access to imaging through our main and outreach locations.
