As a youth minister and then pastor in The United Methodist Church, Annette founded and developed the first new United Methodist Church in the Wyoming Conference in over 60 years. She empowered other lay and clergy members of The UMC to create new ministries through accepting invitations to speak at congregations around New York State, seminaries (Colgate Rochester School of Divinity & Drew University), and at church development conferences and workshops.
