Dear Friends, Throughout the past ten seasons, the have had the opportunity to work with hundreds of amazing organizations within the Greater Lehigh Valley. While continuing to strengthen these relationships, we also hope to establish new ones. Listed below are some of the programs that are available to non-profit organizations for the upcoming 2018 baseball season: Community Nights at the Ballpark - Non-profits have the opportunity to set up an information booth at Coca-Cola Park, during 1 of 10 selected home games. The booth can be utilized to distribute marketing materials, recruit volunteers and increase community awareness. Participants are not permitted to solicit or accept donations while on Coca-Cola Park grounds. Community Spotlight Sacred Heart Hospital has established a program to highlight a different non-profit organization during each of the IronPigs 70 home games. A permanent display space is setup on the main concourse where non-profit organizations will be given the opportunity to promote their cause, recruit volunteers and raise awareness. Prime dates fill up fast. (Presented by Sacred Heart Hospital) Community Star Award Each month the IronPigs will recognize a community member who has gone above and beyond to give back to his / her community. We know how many great volunteers, coaches and teachers there are within our area and we need your help to recognize them! A total of five community members will be recognized throughout the 2018 season. (Presented by Stoudt Associates) Philling The Need This program is designed to provide local nonprofits with resources that they may not have access to. The IronPigs will be hosting five collection drives for various items during IronPigs home games throughout the season. IronPigs Charities Jersey Auctions IronPigs Charities hosts five jersey auctions throughout the season. Players will wear special jerseys, unique to each theme. They are then auctioned off immediately following the game. In addition to auctioning off the players jerseys, one team autographed jersey is also raffled off. The proceeds from the auction and raffle are split between the benefactor and IronPigs Charities. In order to become a benefactor, organizations must submit the application included in this packet no later than March 9, 2018. Swing for Swine Thanks to the generosity of Broadcom Limited, 30 tickets will be donated to a different non-profit for each IronPigs home game during the 2018 season. Our only request is that you use the tickets you receive. Failure to redeem tickets will result in a lower preference for the following season. (Presented by Broadcom Limited) Dog Days The IronPigs host eight Dog Days throughout the summer, and animal related non-profits will be chosen to help with these furry friends in the ballpark. Each selected non-profit will collect entry fees and will be able to keep the proceeds from their night. (Presented by TD Bank) In order to be considered for any of these programs, you must complete the enclosed request forms. Any requests made without the appropriate forms will not be considered. We appreciate all you do to benefit the Lehigh Valley community, and we look forward to seeing you at the ballpark! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
