Program: Independent Living Skills Reporting Period: July 1, 15 to June 30, 16 Eligibility Transition aged youth, 16-22 that require assistance managing their mental health while learning skills in order to prepare to live independently in preparation for adulthood and emancipation. Independent Living Skills Outcome Statement As a result of Independent Living Skills services at St. Joseph Orphanage, clients will be able to resolve basic problems of daily living, maintain stable housing, engage with community and natural supports, and utilize coping skills to achieve personal success while reducing mental health symptoms, maintain positive relationships, advocate for needs and remain stable in all life domains. Independent Living Skills Services Offered: Independent Living Skills (housing) Case Management Therapy Medication Management Mental Health Assessment Program Highlights 15-16 Three youth served graduated from high school while in the program ILS partnered with Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Youth Employment Service to provide employment readiness training and job coaching to all residents Two youth attended college orientation to begin at Wright State University in the fall Six youth are employed and paying toward either their rent, utilities, or both 3 Independent Living Skills Outcomes Management Report 16
