(New Jersey Pay to Play Law), the City of Somers Point, County of Atlantic and State of New Jersey is seeking Requests for Proposals for Telecommunication Services to be provided to the City of Somers Point beginning approximately June 1, 2015. Requests for Proposals (RFP s) are on file in the Office of the City Clerk, Somers Point City Hall, 1 West New Jersey Avenue, Somers Point, New Jersey 08244. All proposals must be received by the City Administrator no later than 1:00 PM on May 1, 2015 at which time they will be publicly opened, announced and recorded in the City Administrator s Office. All questions concerning this notice must be addressed to Wes Swain, City Administrator, via email at wswain@somerspointgov.org. Any clarifications will be posted on this website in the Solicitations section under the heading, Clarifications to Telecommunications RFP. It is the vendor s responsibility to check this website for any additional information. The last date to request clarifications is April 21, 2015. Any clarifications will be provided not later than April 22, 2015. The proposal must be in a sealed envelope, clearly marked on the outside as Proposal for Telecommunications Services. An original and one copy of the proposal must be submitted. It is not a requirement that either document be bound or in color. The evaluation will consider: 1. Experience and reputation in the field. 2. Knowledge of the subject matter to be addressed under the contract. 3. Compensation proposal. 4. Other factors if demonstrated to be in the best interest of the City of Somers Point. As part of the review process, the City Administrator may interview selected vendors in order to more fully explore the proposal. Note also that the City of Somers Point has the right to reject any and all proposals in part or in their entirety.
************************************** Request for Proposal Telecommunications Services The Vendor is invited to submit a proposal for use by the City of Somers Point. Submissions should be broken down as shown below. Introduction A brief introduction of the Vendor, to include the following: 1. Vendor s basic qualifications. 2. Identification of the person who will be primarily responsible for the required services and provide a description of the experience of the primary person with projects and issues similar to those that will be undertaken by the City of Somers Point. 3. Identification of persons who will serve as backup to the primary person. 4. Description of previous experience, especially in the State of New Jersey. Vendors should provide at least three examples where services have been provided to other municipal entities of similar service requirements within the last three years. These examples should include contact names of individuals at the other municipal entities. 5. A list of references including the names, addresses and telephone numbers of persons who can verify experience and record of success. Compensation Proposal: Provide a compensation proposal on the Compensation Proposal Form included in this Request for Proposal. It is the last sheet of this RFP. If there is no charge for any of the listed items, please indicate that by responding with, None. On a separate sheet identify any charges might possibly be required to change during the term of the contract, if any.
