Easter The Time of Resurrection A time of joy...the signs of new life are all around But In your own life things are blighted. Ministry Highlights Adult Formation By: Kathryn Lewis Adult Formation is a ministry that provides educational and spiritual growth opportunities in our parish. The team was formed approximately three years ago. They decide what programs are best and present them to the Spiritual Growth Commission for approval. Once a program is approved the ministry team implements it by recruiting, promoting and facilitating. For example, during this Lenten season the Adult Formation Ministry, in partnership with the Retreat and Mission Ministry, hosted a Lenten supper with a Lenten speaker for three successive Wednesdays. The first St. Aloysius Day was spearheaded by the Adult Formation Ministry. It began as an opportunity to learn more about the life of St. Aloysius, and it soon became a celebration for all generations to enjoy! The team is currently working on a parish wide survey to assess the needs and wants of our parishioners. We welcome your ideas, thoughts, and prayers as we continue to strive to provide spiritual and education programs for St. Aloysius. We invite you to get involve and embrace the programs presented during the year. For more information please contact Kathryn Lewis at lewiskac@aol.com or kscreen@staloysiusparish.com. You need the caring, listening support of a Christian friend. Our Parish has a ministry to help you. Contact the Parish Office, 343-6657 or Referrals Coordinator, Mary Morain 931-5839 to talk about how we can connect you (or a parishioner who is hurting) with one of our Stephen Ministers. It s a great way to share the joy of the Resurrection! April 27, 2014 7 2nd Sunday of Easter
