Sector Skills Alliances : added value A new impetus for skills supply and pedagogical innovations - Reduce skills mismatch increasing competitiveness and and employability. - Operationalise the synergies between EU labour market intelligence activities and VET provision. - Develop quality of alliance for systemic and sustainable impact (dissemination strategy, key actors commitment).
Sector Skills Alliances : pilot call 2012 Large-scale and multilateral partnerships, At least 7 partners covering 5 LLP participating countries (including 4 MS) 3 categories of stakeholders : VET providers, sector expertise, policy/decision makers (with at least one representative from each category) Duration : 12 or 24 months Maximum grant : 400 000 Euros Co-financing : 75%

SSA as priority in the last Lifelong Learning Programme call: 31 January 2013 deadline; July 2013 selection; October 2013 kick-off SSA in Erasmus for All: 2014-2020 annual calls; around 200 Sector Skills Alliances with 174 Millions Euros (on average 870.000 per SSA)
