Scholarship Application Checklist Please submit the following documents for scholarship consideration: Scholarship application checklist attached to: o Scholarship application o A page listing current extra-curricular activities if needed o Responses to the essay questions o Copy of your high school transcript (official only) o Copy of your SAT scores print out (applies if not listed on transcript) Please do not include cover letters, letters of recommendation, copies of certificates, copies of parent/guardian tax returns, paycheck stubs or W2 s, photos, or school profile/information sheets. Please do not submit the application using binders, folders, page protector sheets or dividers. Incomplete applications are not considered for scholarships.
FAQs I am 31, and have decided to return to college. Am I eligible to apply? No. You must be a current graduating high school senior. I have applied to several colleges, and am still awaiting responses. Am I eligible to apply? My high school does not offer the SAT. I took the ACT instead. Do I include that score and print out? No. We do not accept the ACT score. You are still eligible to apply even though you did not take the SAT. I took the SAT more than once. What score do I include on my application? We use the most recent test date, even if that score is lower than previous tests. Include the score from your most recent test. My mom/dad is remarried. Do I include my step-parent s income on the scholarship application? I plan on attending a two year/junior college before transferring to a four year university. Am I eligible to apply? My parents are divorced. Whose income do I include on my application? The parent/guardian who provides support. If that happens to be both parents, include contact and income information for both. What GPA score does FCCU use? We use the total, weighted GPA even if this score is lower than a non-weighted or academic GPA. I did not take the SAT. Am I still eligible to apply? Are children of FCCU employees eligible to apply? What else do I need to know? All scholarship finalists will be contacted mid-may 2018 and are required to attend our annual meeting on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 6 pm.
