21 st Annual School Health Nursing Seminar July 14 th - 16 th, 2008 FEATURED SPEAKER - Chef Michelle Dudash, RD Michelle Dudash, founder and owner of Chef Dudash Nutrition, is highly regarded as a food and nutrition expert. As a Registered Dietitian (RD) and a certified Le Cordon Bleu Chef, she has held a private practice in the Phoenix metropolitan area for several years as a chef, counselor, consultant, speaker, and media resource. With this experience Michelle has been able to educate and entertain audiences and personal clients on weight loss strategies, culinary arts and wellness topics. Her expertise has targeted various corporations, associations, and universities, like ARAMARK, Glaceau, Unilever, Murray's Cookies, Nothing but Noodles restaurants, and Arizona State University. Michelle has made over 40 television guest appearances including one on the national FOX News Channel. Additionally, she has consulted with CN Resource in conducting hundreds of School Meal Initiative reviews for the National School Lunch Program for states around the country. In addition to her career in nutrition, Michelle's culinary career includes cooking modern French cuisine at Mary Elaine's at The Phoenician and working as a private chef. Michelle is an inspirational person who serves as a role model for all of her clients through practicing what she preaches. She believes that loving what you do, staying active and enjoying most everything in moderation are keys to living well. ACCREDITATION AZSNC has applied for Contact Hours through the Arizona Nurses Association (AzNA), an accredited provider of continuing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). Note: Effective January 1, 2007, the American Nurses Credentialing Center changed the previous ratio of 1.0 credit for 50 minutes of activity to 1.0 credit for 60 minutes of activity.
