GET UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL WITH WORLD CLASS RESEARCH ENTITIES AT FRENCH SCIENCE WEEK 20 May 2015, Singapore From 26 to 28 May 2015, the French Science Week will be dedicated to Science and Education, to promote French research and higher education and enlighten Franco-Singaporean collaborations as part of the Voilah! French Festival. The French Science Week will give students and college students, researchers and the general public an opportunity to get up close and personal with world class research entities in Singapore. Held at ESSEC Asia Campus (One North MRT) and organised in collaboration
with Campus France Singapore, the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), the French Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (FCCS); 10 French enterprises and 15 laboratories established in Singapore will showcase their innovative work and the scientific excellence reached through Franco-Singaporean collaborations. The French Science Week has been created for students and college students, researchers and general public and covers a wide-spectrum of scientific fields: Mathematics, Business, Aerospace, Physics, Biomedical, Energy, Smart Cities and more. The public will also have the opportunity to discover cutting edge research in lesser known fields like Quantum Physics and to explore how science is involved in everyday objects like video games. MORE THAN 16 OPEN ACCESS BOOTHS, 25 CONFERENCES and 5 RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CENTRE VISITS SOMETHING IN STORE FOR EVERYONE 16 open access booths 25 conferences of 20 minutes and 11 different themes: Mathematics, Economics, Business, Energy, Smart Cities, Physics, Material, Nanotech, Biomedical, Biotech, Health Visits of research laboratories and French companies, as well as research & development (R&D) facilities around Singapore for group of 20 to 40 students (IPAL, CSI laboratory, EDF and HDB Building, Thales Innovation hub, Airbus).
