OGDEN DOWNTOWN ALLIANCE YEARLY CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT REPORT Action: To receive report Background The City Council has requested to receive information from local foundations and nonprofit organizations that have a contractual agreement with Ogden City. These presentations help the Council to become more familiar with the objectives and efforts of the organizations. The Ogden Downtown Alliance will describe their organizational mission and goals, successes and challenges over the past year and any future plans for their organization. The Ogden Downtown Alliance is committed to increasing economic vitality and community vibrancy throughout Ogden s Central Business District. We support local commerce through place making, destination marketing, focused community programming and events. We create and promote a dynamic epicenter for arts, entertainment and cultural experiences in Ogden s downtown.
Historic 25 th Street The Junction Washington Boulevard Ogden s Central Business District encompasses the focus area for the Ogden Downtown Alliance. From 28 th to the River and Wall to Adams, there are just over 600 businesses represented and 3 distinct districts: Historic 25 th Street, The Junction and The Vard.

The ODA Team photographed the Central Business District, making an inventory of needs, assets and opportunities. During that time, the team also conducted one-on-one business interviews with those entities not represented by a district like Historic 25 th Street.

Taking the existing city plans, commentary from district meetings, and one-on-one interviews was all compiled and prioritized. From there, Six Pillars of Work were formulated.
