2 12 ARIZONA CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY ORIENTATION WEEK #LETSDOTHIS

#LETSDOTHIS Let me be one of many to officially welcome you to Arizona Christian University! These are truly exciting times for our community. I have been working in higher education for ten years, and whenever this time of year rolls around I get excited about the potential impact each new group will have on the institution. I am excited that you have chosen ACU, but I also understand that with transition comes uncertainty and sometimes fear. The faculty, staff, and student leaders have been working hard to prepare for your arrival. We want you to feel at home and a part of our family. We have a number of events and activities for you to participate in this Welcome Week. I hope you take full advantage of them as we get acquainted with each other. Our theme this year is I Am changes who I am. With our new name, colors, mascot, majors, and members of our community we want this to be a memorable year. Our student leaders are planning what we are calling an epic year. It is our hope that you would engage our community and develop lifelong relationships while at ACU. The faculty, staff, and student leaders are here to serve and assist you with any questions or concerns you may have. An information table will be staffed in the SAC Lobby all week, so please let us know how we can help you. It is my prayer that you sense the peace of God knowing that He has put you at ACU for a purpose, and that you seek first His kingdom while on your journey at ACU. Welcome to the ACU family! Dr. Karen Sumner Director of Student Life 602-386-4148 karen.sumner@arizonachristian.edu
