Increase the demand for quality data, methods, and tools and facilitate information use in decision-making. Create the enabling environment to improve policies, plans and financing for health and education. Solution Focusing on HIV/AIDS, FP/RH, and maternal health, we assist government and civil society partners in policy advocacy and formulation in more than 30 countries around the world and assist in-country partners in designing national and subnational HIV policies and strategic plans. For this project covering HIV/AIDS, family planning, maternal and child health and nutrition, malaria, and tuberculosis, we are charged with strengthening monitoring and evaluation functions/systems, and building in-country institutional capabilities. We increase local capacity to better plan, conduct advocacy, use information, and develop policies in connection with a substantial local grants program. In Nigeria, our work is aimed at promoting and sustaining access to high-quality health and education programs in HIV/AIDS, malaria, TB, child survival, FP, RH, safe motherhood, and basic education. 14

SRA will be providing project management, monitoring and data management and statistics for the whole program. SRA provides all regulatory and clinical support for this project, which supports a new vaccine that could also be used in the future to stop HIV infected patients developing AIDS. One of the key reasons for the award was the breadth of our HIV experience across multiple market segments. SRA obtained European approval the anti-hypertensive last year, and for the combo has just compiled the European regulatory filing and filed it in all 27 European countries in parallel. This submission involved translations into all European languages and production of 2 million pieces of paper. 16
