sychosexual Clinic Many people are apprehensive about attending the clinic, usually because they are unsure of what to expect. This leaflet aims to explain what happens once you have been referred to this service. What happens Referral When we receive a referral either from your G, or Consultant, we will contact you to arrange an appointment for assessment. We hope to see you as soon as possible. Appointment The appointment will take place within the Moorgate Wing, D Level at Rotherham Hospital. On arrival you need to book in at reception. The assessment The assessment takes around 45 minutes, during which time you will be given the opportunity to tell us about your problem area, background issues, and general health. At the end of the assessment, the therapist will discuss with you options for therapy and/or treatment You will be fully involved in the decision of how to proceed. The therapist will then write to your referee to inform them of the outcome. 3
