ASSEMBLIES Walk DIRECTLY from class to the gym, NOT stopping at your locker or going to another area of the building to meet others Immediately sit down in the section for your grade level (SEE MAP ON NEXT SLIDE) Recognize when it s appropriate to participate in the assembly activity and when silence is expected A reminder there is no electronic use during assemblies Teachers will travel with their class to the gym and sit in their assigned area with students and will remind you of the expectations, if necessary

ASSEMBLY MAP

TIGER HALL While eating in Tiger Hall, please: Pick up all food and garbage off the floor, bench and table where you eat before leaving and put it in the garbage Voice level 2 Sit on benches only, not tables When done with lunch, you may stay in the cafeteria or go out to the football field please do not stand in front of the building, on sidewalks or parking lots All hallway rules apply during lunch no running, screaming, etc. A reminder, no video, pictures, or music Staff will be in assigned areas to support you and these expectations. They will let you know if your area is not picked up and ask you to clean it up before leaving.

FOOD/DRINK Food and drinks are NOT ALLOWED outside of Tiger Hall during the school day this includes any food brought from home or drinks purchased in the vending machine Food may not be eaten in the classroom unless provided by a teacher or part of a class activity and it must be eaten or put away before leaving class Water in containers with sealing lids IS ALLOWED outside of Tiger Hall Students are NOT ALLOWED to bring coffee, open sodas, or other drinks not stored and sealed in a bottle and in a bag inside OHS at any time during the school day you will be required to throw it away immediately and repeated violations will have additional consequences Staff will monitor and support the expectations, both in and out of the classroom.

OPEN/CLOSED LUNCH EVERYONE stays on campus for lunch the first month of school EXCEPT the seniors who earned early off campus lunch for their effort on the SBAC last year. That will start on Sept. 1. On Oct. 3rd, juniors and seniors may be eligible to leave campus if they meet the requirements to earn a sticker for the back of their student ID more info to come A new sticker must be earned every month in order to leave campus and ID must be shown at the FRONT DOOR EVERYONE MUST LEAVE USING THE FRONT DOOR those caught leaving campus through another door or without a sticker will lose lunch privilege for a month and/or receive discipline consequences Freshmen and Sophomores stay on campus all year for lunch Staff will support the school rules at lunch time and check ID s for offcampus lunch for juniors and seniors, reporting students who leave through other doors or without a sticker.

PARKING LOT STUDENTS: Park in main front parking lot only during school day parking by football field and by the 500 hall reserved for staff only Only student leadership parks in reserved leadership spots Please not park in any spots reserved for visitors or staff No parking behind the gym or AG building at any time it s a fire lane and cars will be towed The parking lot is not meant for gatherings do not stand around out there for your safety Staff will monitor the parking lot to maintain these expectations

LOCKERS Keep lockers: Clean - do not keep food or dirty clothes in them Safe do not allow others to use your locker and do not close the locker door on someone as a joke Make sure your locker is locked at all times for security and do not give out your combination Staff will be available to help you with any locker needs.

BATHROOMS Keep bathrooms clean All school rules apply in bathrooms Staff will be available to address any issues concerning the bathroom.

LOCKER ROOMS All students will stay in locker room with teacher/staff member until everyone is ready to go and the teacher releases to the gym Students will not enter the locker room until the teacher/staff member is in there Theft, bullying, harassment, and horseplay are not permitted Voice Level 2 Students make sure the area is clean before leaving Staff will make sure to monitor for expectations and will: Keep locker rooms locked when they are not in there (including between classes if they are not present when students arrive) Not allow students to leave locker room until everyone is ready when there is not a staff member in the gym to supervise

HALLWAYS Voice Level 2 or lower at ALL TIMES No cursing No running, bumping, or cutting people off being late for class will NEVER be an excuse for running DON T use your phone and walk at the same time you re blocking the flow of traffic! Keep your hands to yourself and stay to the right whenever possible Staff will be in the hallways and teachers will be standing at their classroom doors between classes to actively supervise and support the expectations
