Industry Leadership Facilitate Strategy Providing insight for growth of industry for 2023 Learn more about the sector Catalyst to continue building momentum & growth: bring industry together Building networks & partnerships Continue to offer courses and conferences like Food Summit Keep the momentum going for growth of our food industry Collaboration, training, assistance, building markets 2017 Feedback 2. Value Creation Collaborate with government (all levels) feed in to Atlantic Growth Strategy More collaboration: have several organizations in a region doing training, industry info sessions, workshops, etc. Work together vs. Compete/duplicate. Realize happening now to some extent but could be enhanced. How can Atlantic companies collaborate to mitigate costs to demo products at retail banner locations in market? Important in getting your product in to the CART. Especially in new markets for new products and brands More collaborative opportunities with the sector Provide a link to food processors to equipment suppliers via day trade show or annual meeting to discuss expansion, equipment needs Clear description on how they provide value to potential members Better use our resources to support your members beyond food safety training 3. Tactical Support Export Initiatives to connect a group of complementary food companies with premium market/buyer To promote the export market access program and e-tools for exporting programs to its members Funding assistance for trade shows and for assistance for production tourism More label leads Make space for Agri-Business start-ups all across Atlantic Canada
