Briefly identify three 1) The city has done a great job so far with the Downtown area, especially with the Little House remodeling redevelopment issues facing the City project but there is still so much work that is necessary to improve our Downtown. To attract business to and the CRA: this area we must first clean it up, enforce current businesses to improve their exteriors and incentivize owners who will open their busines~es in the area especially (llpng Ocean Ave. 2) Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd needs a facelift. T~ have a street that s named after such a great man beln ;' ",.", e,,_, - - _., that condition is t appealing. The residentsof that cci~munity, seein~ that.cin in~estmentjs bein~ made.', - - ",. -..."," into their community wiutake much more pride n their community and 1n thel(city. h1tum, causing~n influx of residents who are more municipally conscious and aware. 3) Seacrest Blvd from the park to SE 28th Avenue floods to a point of real concern whenever it rains. Cars are traveling on one side of the road to avoid driving through deep water. The driveways of the homes on Seacrest flood causing a struggle for these homeowners to get in and out of their homes. 've attached pictures to fully express my concern about this area and its' residents. t is our job as a city to/esolve this issue. We have several schools n the area, imagine your child has to walk through 12-18 inches (minimum) of water to get to and from school ona rainy day, This is a serious safety ssue which must be resolved immediately.
