7th Annual Hurt Locker Explosive Ordnance Disposal Navy EOD Association Chapter 6 Charity Event
Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Association (Navy EOD Association), Charleston Chapter s 7th annual EOD Hurt-Locker Charity Golf Tournament. Navy EOD Association, Charleston Chapter 6 is pleased to announce the 7th Annual EOD Charity Golf Tournament to be held at Shadowmoss Plantation Golf Club, check-in starting at Noon, August 22nd, 2015. During the last six years with the extreme generosity of our local businesses and caring community, our local chapter has been able to raise and has distributed, OVER $90,000 to our brave EOD men and women in uniform and their families. With our 7 th tournament rapidly approaching we are once again asking our local businesses and the community for donations, either a monetary donation, product donation for auction/raffle, and/or a hole sponsorship displayed during the golf tournament. All donations received are tax deductible. In the past six years the Charleston Chapter has provided these funds to three organizations that assist our brave young men and women as well as their families. These organizations are the Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation, ( http:// www.woundedeodwarrior.org ) and the EOD Memorial Foundation ( http:// www.eodmemorial.org ), which have merged responsibilities and support networks in 2013 to form the EOD Warrior Foundation (http:// www.eodwarriorfoundation.org). This charity event is being sponsored by the Charleston Area, Navy EOD Assoc., Chapter 6 along with local businesses.
