Worcester Marine Corps League Newsletter Page 2 Your Commandants Message Another fall season is upon us, where has the year gone. The summer good times went ever so fast. Mother Nature along with our aquatic friends have given us a challenge for the up and coming year. On 1 Nov, the docks are coming out to end the boating season. A thank you to the Associates and Marines who came down to help remove and store the docks. November is the month that the State Marine Corps League representative comes to our league and swears in the new Board Members. Our fund raising is going well, and will soon be on the fast track. As you know our Toys for Tots drive is soon, your help will be greatly appreciated for it is one of our biggest events. In the past Marine and Associates have stepped up to this event and I hope this year we will carry on the tradition. This year on New Year s Eve we will be hosting a Buffet and Band for the evening. It will be in the Lt. John Powers Hall [street level] featuring the Tony Soul Project Band. [ FROM THE DELTA TO SOUL TO ROCK & ROLL ] Info will be coming next month.
