You should register at ideagenerator@cut.ac.za before or on 16 February with your Name, contact details and Project Title & short description (Reason be to present a list of entries to potential funders this Friday and print compliment cards with your details to hand out!) 2. If you have partners in the invention (idea) or business, you should disclose and a signed service agreement that should be submitted with the entry form or will be disqualified! 3. INNOVATION or BUSINESS: You should submit a completed the entry form (CUT students and Staff: signed off by the relevant Dean / Head of Department / CEO of Unit, or at the Idea Generator, entries from the general public: Signed off by CUT Idea Generator and Tabalaza organisers) via email on the 2o nd of February and make an email appointment for the assessment and training session of your 5 min ( Ideas) 10 minutes (Business) presentation pitch for the 27 or 28th of February a session to help you how to pitch plus guidance from CUT TTO office not to disclose your idea if it could be protected. (If in time help can be provided with the printing of an information pack to showcase your business to funders!) The Idea Challenges will be held at the Idea Gym CUT starting at 14h00 am Advance learning sessions will be presented on the 1 st of March in the morning from 9-11am and 12-1 on How to pitch to potential funders HOW to build a Network! You are welcome to bring prototype if IP protected or samples of products to display. When will the winners be announced and what will be the prize money? Idea Challenge winners will be announced at the 2 nd of March event at 10.00 am and the prizes awarded will be R5000, first, R3000, second and R2000 third prize.
