FEBRUARY 2009 NEWSLETTER FUTURE CITY COMPETITION The competition for the 2009 Future City Competition State title is complete. Congratulations to St. Thomas More for winning this years competition. They will now represent Louisiana at the national competition is Washington, D.C. 2009 ENGINEERS WEEK BANQUET FEBRUARY 19, 2009 The Baton Rouge Chapter of the Louisiana Engineering Society, in conjunction with the LES Ladies Auxiliary, invite you to celebrate Engineers Week with us at the 2009 E-Week Banquet. Engineers Week was founded in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers to raise public understanding and appreciation of engineers contributions to society. We as engineers should be proud of our enormous and often unheralded contributions to the world in which we live. Our formal celebration of E-Week will be held on February 19, 2009 at the Baton Rouge Country Club on Jefferson Highway. Cocktails will be served at 6:30 with the dinner and awards starting at 7:00 pm. We appreciate your show of support through one of the following pledge options.
