2 the ship, and the safety of the crew during over 900 hours as the senior bridge watch-stander, including operations to support UNSCR 1199 during the Kosovo crisis of 1998-1999. Communications Officer USS CURTIS WILBUR, Yokosuka, Japan 2 years Designed a plan of action that ensured successful communications connectivity with U.S. and Allied naval forces during the guided missile destroyer's first deployment from San Diego, CA to the Persian Gulf.
