Commander s Remarks: As 2011 comes to an end I believe Post 16 has truly been blessed. Even with lower bingo revenue, we are still able to make donations to help Veterans in our community. We ve increased our programs at our local schools. We gave out all our School Awards and J.R.O.T.C. Awards, along with all 8 of our Post Scholarships and an increased number of Flag Etiquette classes and Flag Dedications. We also operated all our other Post programs. We raised enough money to help 7 needy families this Christmas. We also provided gifts and a meal for more than 30 special needs kids. I want to thank all members of Post 16, Unit 16 and Squadron 16 that gave of their self during 2011 to see that all Post programs, functions, parties and meetings were a success. I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas and that 2012 will be a healthy and happy year for all. I pray in 2012, God will continue to Bless Post 16 so we can continue to serve the Veterans and Children of our community. For God and Country Stacy L.
