C O L L E G E OF HUMANITIES & SOCIAL SCIENCES C O L L E G E OF HUMANITIES & SOCIAL SCIENCES Dear friends, Honors Week is truly one of the highlights of the academic year for me. At Bridgewater State University, we are focused on ensuring the success of each and every student. The students who are being recognized this week stand out for their dedication, hard work, commitment to academic excellence, leadership and service to others. These students are not only model students, but model citizens. I am proud of what our students have accomplished, both individually and collectively. I am inspired by this generation s public spiritedness and desire to improve the world around them. Honors Week provides the opportunity to recognize our very deserving students and also those who guide them on their journey to educational, professional and personal success - their families and friends, and BSU faculty, staff, alumni and donors who have mentored and encouraged them along the way. On behalf of everyone at the university, I thank each of you for all you have done and will continue to do to support our students. Bridgewater State University would not be where it is today without your invaluable contributions. To all the student honorees, you have reason to be very proud of your accomplishments, and I wish you well as you continue to take what you have learned at BSU and bring it to the world.
