What is Provider Assignment? Ability for DOE Providers to identify service recommendations awaiting a DOE Provider in SESIS Facilitates assignment of DOE, contract agency and independent providers to service recommendations Contract agency and independent providers eligible and active in PETS can be assigned Allows related service providers and supervisors to assign providers to recommended services Provides the ability to assign one or more providers to one or more service recommendations (bulk assignment) Facilitates the first attend process 4
Key Benefits Streamlines systems as a result of the retirement of the CAP application for school aged students Replaces the use of CAP/SEC Eliminates the need to call into IVR Decreases processing time for provision of related services Increases timeliness of payment to non-doe providers 5

Provider Assignment: Main Screen Each service recommendation for a student is listed on a separate row. Scrolling displays more information on a mandate. 8
Provider Assignment: Search Panel The Search link provides filters to restrict the list to only a subset of service recommendations. 9
Provider Assignment: Assigning a DOE Provider To assign a provider, first click the checkbox on the service recommendation, then click the Assign Provider button. 10

Provider Assignment: Bulk Assignment to a Provider Place a checkmark in each row and click the Assign Provider button to assign multiple service recommendations at once to the provider and the students to the provider s SESIS caseload. 12
Provider Assignment: Split Mandate Select the number of times per week to be delivered by the provider in the Remaining Frequency column. When the provider is assigned, a new row with the remaining sessions will display. 13
Provider Assignment: Assigning a DOE Provider Steps Log in to SESIS and navigate to Provider Assignment Filter for unassigned or partially assigned service recommendations, as needed Select one or more student service recommendations Click the Assign Provider button to lookup a provider Filter to locate the provider and select the provider Click the Assign Provider button. SESIS will Add the student to the provider s caseload overnight Change Mandate Status to Fully Assigned Change Assignment Status to Awaiting First Attend 14
