These two Research Fellows will work under the direction of UCSD Sustainability Office and in partnership with faculty on campus to conduct research related to the goals UC Carbon Neutrality Initiative, especially research that could help UC campuses reach their carbon neutrality goals. As part of this work, the fellow is expected to: participate in regular phone calls, leadership trainings, and other meetings with other CNI fellows as developed by the Global Climate Leadership Council (GCLC); meet regularly and coordinate with UCSD Sustainability Office as appropriate, especially in relation to climate action planning and related research on campus; and prepare a poster on their work for presentation at the convening of fellows that occurs at the California Higher Education Sustainability Conference each year. The recipient is expected to be in good academic standing and remain registered during the award period.
