Working with the Governors Point man for GA s military bases Unmanned Systems With vast percentage of the DOD budget dedicated to unmanned systems, we will lobby for Research and Development Companies to come to Camden County
When the country needs federal agencies the most the Coast Guard is the one we call. After the record we have had with the responsiveness of our Coast Guard why aren t we increasing rather than decreasing their budget? Do we remember what happened on 9/11? The Coast Guard evacuated half a million people that day. This was a bigger evacuation than Dunkirk in WWII with 350,000 evacuees. And they did it well. The Coast Guard makes it happen. Look at the agencies involved with Katrina when the Coast Guard came in and saved 33,000 lives. This is equal to the number of lives usually saved in 6 years and it was accomplished in about 6 days. While Camden County is also focused on the loss of our MSST and the specifically designed and essential security they represent we are also in the midst of a great national responsibility to support the military force that we call on in our darkest hours to insure that they have the ships and capabilities they need for our future. What do we as a community do about this? Everything we can The Camden Partnership taking the lead Partnered with all local governments, JDA, Chamber of Commerce and Navy League of the United States Our Points: Equalization Recapitalization Jobs Bills
