IntroducHon: We sahsfy all 16 hour criteria for AccreditaHon from NAEMT/American College of Surgeons, as well as providing an addihonal day of skill prachce and simulahon in a stressful environment. The TCCC course is the companion course to PHTLS for the Military. It was inihally designed for the warriors who are preparing to be deployed in support of combat operahons, but clearly there are applicahons in the civilian world, relahve to working in austere environments and rendering aid and team support in situahons where violence has forced good medicine and good tachcs to merge. AddiHonally, this program provides a minimum standard of training for medical personnel deploying over seas under State Department contract.. Accredited through the NaHonal AssociaHon of Emergency Medical Technicians, this class is appropriate for all level providers. Formulated from bazlefield and combat evidence based medicine, developed by the American College of Surgeons. Here is a prime opportunity to parhcipate in a class, and receive a cerhficahon for a growing and evolving area of pre hospital care! This type of training is rapidly becoming a sub specialty of Pre Hospital Care.

Course DescripHon: This course is designed to teach the principles of TCCC as it relates to civilian law enforcement. Students will receive formal training in life saving medical intervenhons from current cerhfied TCCC instructors. Students will be required to complete a pre course general knowledge assessment and post course final exam. Coursework will consist of power point lecture followed by prachcal applicahon of the skills taught to ensure students meet the required standard of proficiency of individual skills. Students will gain vital knowledge about the systems of the human body, how to rapidly assess a casualty, and perform medical treatment while under simulated stress during 8 hours of force on force scenario based training.
