About the Conference Keynote Speaker PURPOSE We face many challenges and opportunities in health care today. The purpose of this conference is to provide nurses with an opportunity to re-energize themselves. The conference will provide strategies to identify and prevent burnout in their health care practice. Local health care organizations will also highlight innovative ideas and initiatives through podium and poster presentations that showcase a variety of topics in health care. Please join us in our 23rd year! TARGET AUDIENCE Nurses or nursing students in clinical, management, and educational roles. CAROL M. WILSON LECTURESHIP IN NURSING The Carol M. Wilson Lectureship in Nursing was established in 1993 to honor Carol M. Wilson, MA, RN, a former nurse executive at Nebraska Medicine for her 41 years of service and leadership. This lectureship was established to support the continuing education of nurses. REGISTRATION Registration for the 2018 State of the Art Nursing Conference through Event Brite can be made by going to NebraskaMed.com/Sota. FEE The fee for this conference, which includes breaks, lunch and continuing education contact hours is $90 if completed by March 16. From March 17 and after, registration is $100. Registration at the door will be available, if space permits. CANCELLATION Fees paid will be refunded less a $25 processing fee if notice is received in writing by March 16. Fees may be transferred to another person for this conference only. No refunds will be issued after March 16.
