OPETS vs. JE-OPETS UNCLASSIFIED (For Informational Purposes Only Subject to Change) JE-OPETS will be very similar to OPETS incorporates OPETS lessons learned Primary differences: OPETS has 6 separate multiple-award (MA) IDIQs; JE-OPETS will have 3 MA IDIQs Acquisition: Remains a Small Business Set-aside (Projected award 1QFY18) Logistics and Medical will be combined (Projected award 1QFY18) Business and Analytical, Engineering and Technical, and Information Technology will be combined (Projected award 1QFY19) Reduced number of total IDIQ holders OPETS: 42 IDIQ Holders JE-OPETS: At least 3 IDIQ holders per IDIQ Less administrative burden and added stability OPETS IDIQ: 1-Yr Base with two 1-Yr Options; JE-OPETS IDIQ: 3-Yr base with one 3-Yr Option Grouping/Reducing the number of Task Orders (currently 379 TOs for 399 FTE) More flexibility and better responsiveness Ability to increase/decrease FTE (for small numbers of FTE) Adding Levels 5 and 6 for each Labor Category (to be used by exception) Adding special/surge support Ceiling: OPETS $495M total; JE-OPETS $249M X 3 IDIQs = $747M total

This capability (two of four), the Survey Detector, will provide: indirect scanning, targeting of surface to locate and survey contamination boundaries.
