Previous studies confirm no mission / noise impact on eagles. Ongoing studies into fatalities, management recommendations. Measures enacted to prevent electrocutions & monitor eagles. Biological Assessment submitted to USF&WS. Some minor delays and location changes. No recent project / training cancellations. NOISE Blast and shock from testing disturb neighbors peace and can damage property. Noise monitoring and management plan in place. Public notification as appropriate. Some minor delays IAW noise prediction model, but tests generally proceed. WETLANDS APG has had significant wetlands growth which could limit scope of activity. Obtain permits as necessary. Mitigate impacts. No negative impact. Training enhancement. DRINKING WATER Some range / FTX areas in local drinking water recharge areas. APG activities have likely contaminated these supplies. Treatment provided at one site. Training adjusted / being moved to prevent contamination at other site. Minor. RANGE FIRES Mission activities can result in range fires. Developing range management plan utilizing prescribed burns. Awaiting EIS completion. None to date. CLEANUP OPERATIONS Large cleanup program. Co-existing w/ ongoing mission.
