gala dinner 2013 Our annual Gala Dinner is the Chamber s premier event and the highlight of our calendar. This glittering occasion is a great way to treat your own special guests to an evening of fun, with top class entertainment and superb food and wine. Guests of honour at our Gala Dinners include politicians and dignitaries from South Africa and Germany. NETWORKING EVENTS Members luncheons Throughout the year the Chamber hosts several Members Luncheons featuring a variety of guest speakers. These events provide an excellent opportunity for members and guests to network. The luncheons are also an excellent way to advertise your company s services or products. Golf Days At the Chamber s annual Golf Day, Gold sponsors are allocated advertising space at one hole. Seminars, workshops and AGM Your company logo will be displayed on a welcome banner at all Chamber events. MEDIA VISIBILITY Gold sponsors are given a unique chance to increase awareness of their brand by taking advantage of our well-established web presence and advertising opportunities in Chamber publications. Annual report Your company will receive free advertising space (A4) in our flagship publication, the Annual Report, which is published in August and distributed to key South African and German politicians and institutions, as well as our 600+ member companies. Chamber website and monthly newsletter Our website has in excess of 1000 registered users. In addition to this, our statistics show that we are receiving an average of 2000 new visitors a month from Germany and South Africa. Our newsletter, enewsmail, is sent out electronically to a subscriber base of approximately 3500 addresses. Most of these are member companies of the Chamber in South Africa and Germany, but also include several pivotal companies, institutions and organisations in both countries. Trained in Germany 2013 The Southern African-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with Alumniportal Deutschland, brings you Trained in Germany 2013, a job fair which will take place in Johannesburg in April this year.
