Join Us! Welcome The 51 st Annual Conference of the California Land Surveyors Association will be held on March 24-28, 2017. The Conference Committee, chaired by Bill Hofferber, has worked hard to assemble an extraordinary line-up of education sessions and speakers. In addition, we will have the usual favorites, including the Golf and Bowling Tournaments, Exhibit Hall, Sunday night Opening Reception, Silent Auction and the Scholarship Auction and Dinner. For 2017, the CLSA Conference will deliver all of this and more in a streamlined format so that the conference will wrap up on Tuesday. By concluding the conference on Tuesday instead of Wednesday, California surveyors will enjoy all of the continuing education of previous conferences in one fewer day, saving on hotel and related travel costs and getting you home and back to work sooner. Host Hotels For those conference attendees staying at the Sheraton, the Wyndham Hotel will provide you with a $10.00 voucher to be used at the Wyndham Anaheim Garden Grove outlets. Location, Transportation and Parking The Wyndham and Sheraton are located within fourteen miles of the John Wayne Orange County Airport. Transportation from and to the airport is available via taxi or alternative providers. These modern, four-star hotels are located 1.5 miles from the Disneyland Park and Disney s California Adventure Park. Direct shuttle service to the parks is available; please inquire as to the shuttle service and Disney Park ticket details from the respective hotel Concierge. The self-parking day rate for the Wyndham Hotel is complimentary. The selfparking overnight rate at the Sheraton is $12 and the valet overnight parking rate is $25 per car, per night, with unlimited in and out privileges for self and valet. Vendors, chapters and individual members donate items ranging from the latest in computer software to older (we prefer the term historic ) survey equipment. There s something for everyone and every pocketbook and, best of all, all proceeds are used to support surveying education. To donate an item to the Scholarship Auction, please fax, mail or email the form below. Thank you for supporting land surveying education!
