Highlights of Recent Field Activities Developed and implemented the Alaska Child Abuse and Neglect Surveillance System Assisted the health department in securing over $1 million in private grant funds to implement a citywide coordinated agenda to prevent cardiovascular disease and diabetes in Baltimore, MD Conducted a community rapid needs assessment in 9 western Kentucky counties following a winter ice storm Led evaluation of 400-person emergency preparedness drill in MA Co-authored Healthy Communities Development white paper for Yesler Terrace Redevelopment (public housing redevelopment work, Seattle, WA) Drafted the Viral Hepatitis Prevention Plan for Los Angeles County, 2009-2014 Developed an Asthma Surveillance Report for the state of Florida in April 2009
