Feedback, Suggestions, Bug Reporting I have a suggestion for the site. Where can I send it? Help! Something isn t working Volunteering: Where do I log my volunteer hours? You can log your past and upcoming volunteer events and hours (both team and individual) by going to the Volunteer tab, clicking on Log/View Hours and clicking Log New Hours. Do I still need to log my volunteer hours in Workday? Yes, you still need to record your hours in Workday. This is how your manager knows when you plan to volunteer. Your manager must approve your volunteer time before you attend volunteer events on work time. How do I search for volunteer opportunities? Go to the Volunteer tab and click on Search Events. You can narrow your search by: Keywords Location (City, Zip, Country) Date Company-Sponsored Events Team Member Driven (employee-created events) External Volunteer Events (events created by charities) Nonprofit Partners (events created by charities just for your specific company) How do I create and upload a volunteer event? You can create individual or team events like the Global Day of Impact. Go to the Volunteer tab, click on Create Event (recruit). Please fill out all required fields. After the required fields have been filled in, you can manage participants and add employees to this event. Have an idea but not sure 2

how to make it happen? Contact the Corporate Citizenship Team at corporatecitizenship@citrix.com or your local Service Officer How do I invite others to an event I created? When creating or editing a team event, invite others by either searching individuals in the system or using our mass upload feature to upload from an Excel document. Once you have added participants to your event, you can set hours for their participation, make them administrators, or send messages to them. How do I link a charity to my event? You must link your event to a charity in the third step of uploading an event under Supported Organizations. On the third step, there s a pre-populated list readily available from the list of your supported organizations from your profile. If you are volunteering for a new charity, you can use the charity search to properly connect the organization to your event. Please note that properly adding the organization to your event is crucial for administration reporting purposes. In addition, it enables employees who might not want/be able to volunteer to contribute funds if they wish. If you are having difficulties finding your organization, please contact us at Citrix-support@YourCause.com. Why won t the event I created save? You must make sure that all of the fields with the red asterisk are filled in. Please make sure to choose the Event Type and Event Category from the drop-down boxes. You MUST also link a charity to the event you create or you will not be able to create the event. If you Add your own Organization you must press Save and Create Event. Can I make a recurring team volunteer event? No, recurring events are only for individual events. You can, however, select copy this event on the Event page to make another instance of your pre-existing team event. What s the difference between Citrix Events and External Events? Citrix Events are team events created by your fellow employees and Service Officers and are commonly referred to as the Global Day of Impact. External Events pull opportunities from various outside volunteer organizations for you to browse. If you find an external event you like, go to the event page and click on Participate to copy the event information to your volunteering page. Can I set my event time on a half-hour? Yes, using the decimal system. For example:.25 = 15 mins.50 = 30 mins.75 = 45 mins Where can I post pictures of my personal or Global Day of Impact volunteering event? Share your experiences and inspire others by posting your pictures on the Citrix Simply Serve Facebook page. You can also click share today on the share your special moments picture on the home page to access the Simply Serve Facebook page. Donating and Fund Raising: 3

What s a Charity Page? It s an informative page where you can view a charity s mission statement, volunteer opportunities, contact information, and more. A charity page is where you make a donation to the charity of your choice. What do I do if I can t find the charity I m looking for? Try narrowing down your search. Click the magnifying button on the top right hand of the screen to go to the search page. Then, use advanced options to narrow down your search by EIN number*, category, keyword, state, or country. You can also filter by organizations accepting donations, charity page details, and locations served (vs. physical location). Make sure to remove all punctuation and abbreviations when you type in the name of the charity you are looking for. *An EIN # is a nine-digit employer identification number assigned by the IRS to tax-exempt nonprofit organizations in the United States. If you still can t find the charity, send us an email and we will be happy to assist you at Citrix-Support@yourcause.com. Is there a transaction fee associated with my donation? No, all transaction fees for processing your donation and disbursing the funds to your selected charity are covered by Citrix. For donations to and from countries outside of the U.S. there are wire transfer expenses funds that impact the nonprofit when it receives the donations, which can t be paid because there are too many variances from country to country and bank to bank. Are there credit card fees associated with my donation? No, Citrix pays all credit card fees on behalf of the employee so that 100% of the employee donation is given to their charity of choice. Is my donation transaction secure? We use industry-leading Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to keep your personal information as secure as possible. We protect your information by working with partners that provide a secure and safe environment for credit card donations. Will my donation be automatically matched? If you make your initial donation through the website, your donation will be matched by Citrix, up to the annual cap of USD 1,000 per person. If you submit a receipt for a donation on the request a retro match page, your donation will be reviewed and approved on a weekly basis. Will Citrix match my donations if made outside of the site? Yes. Just request a retro match via the website and upload a receipt. It will be matched as long as it does not exceed the cap amount of USD 1,000 per employee per year. Disbursement of the matched funds will be sent to your charity between 30 and 45 days of submitting your receipt. Can I use my debit card or other methods to make my donation? Debit cards can be used, but they will be processed like a credit card. If you would like to make donations using other methods it is best to donate directly to the charity and then request a retro match. 4

How long does it take for my donation and the company match to get to the charity? Your donation and the company match will be sent to your charity between 30 and 45 days after your donation has been made. Payouts to international nonprofits may be further delayed until an amount of more than 100 euros is accrued for a single nonprofit organization (to avoid them paying multiple fees for reception of wire transfers). You can check the status of your donation at any time on the Give tab under Donation History. How can I view my donations? To view your donations, go to the Give tab and click on Donation History. Please make sure to use the year drop down if you would like to view a previous year s donation history. Donations that have not yet been processed or sent to the charity can be viewed in the Pending Donations tab. Once they are processed, they will move into the My Donations and Other Donations tabs. The Other Donations tab is for donations from the company (like matching donations). Will my donation and the company match be made in my local currency? Your donation is made in whatever currency the nonprofit accepts. The default is in U.S. dollars. How can I donate to other s giving pages? Search for the individual, click on their name, and then click on Giving. View their current fundraising goal and supported organizations. Then click Donate Now if you wish to support their campaign. Can I raise funds for more than one charity? Yes, you are able to link and support as many charities as you would like. You can edit your organizations through your giving page and profile page. You can also choose which charities you would like displayed on your giving page and which charities you would like to keep hidden. Can I raise money for myself or for personal earnings? No, all funds go directly to selected 501(c)(3) IRS-registered charities or global non-governmental organizations. Can I make an anonymous donation? Yes. Simply select the anonymous box when completing your online donation. If you would like to make a past donation anonymous, you can do this in your settings. Go to your profile page and click on Settings. This is where you will be able to pick and choose which donations you would like public and private. Remember to click save when you are done. For the U.S., will I receive a tax-deductible receipt once the donation has been made? When you make an online credit card donation to a U.S.-based nonprofit, a donation receipt will be automatically emailed to you from our partner, Network for Good. When you file your taxes, you will need to itemize your donations on Schedule A of the 1040 form. You can download this form and the instructions for how to fill it out from the IRS Web site. When you make an online credit card donation to a nonprofit based outside the U.S., you will receive a "donation confirmation email". This email contains a link to a page on ammado.com that will allow you request your donation receipt: o Click the link in the "donation confirmation email" o Click the 'Request Receipt' button to expand the receipt form o Complete the receipt form 5

Please note, if ammado is enabling receipts on behalf of the beneficiary you will receive a receipt immediately after completing the form. Otherwise an email is sent to the beneficiary and the beneficiary will send you a receipt. If you have an ammado account, you can access your donations statement and request a receipt at any time for your past donations. You can view your donations statement by logging in and clicking "giving" and then clicking "donations statement". To access a receipt option for any donation, click the information icon "I" beside any donation. How do I start a Giving Page? Go to the Give tab and click on Giving Page. Click on Get Started to start your giving page. Then, select your organization and describe your page. On your giving page, you can tell your own story on why you support a specific charity or multiple charities. You can click on Share to share your giving page with others within your community. You can also grab your public view URL link to send this page to friends and family outside of your company who can donate to your organizations directly on the page. Privacy: Is there an option to make my information private? Every profile is only visible to Citrix employees. However, every profile also has the option to be completely private. No one will be able to see your profile or the actions you take within the community. Please see the privacy settings in your account for further information. Is my information secure? Yes, all information and donations are safe and secure. Community: What is YourCause?
