HOME EVENT NFORMATION BASEBALL: Games are played at Forest Glen Park, located on the north end of campus off College Avenue (perimeter road) next to Becker Hall. The visiting team uses the first base dugout. No locker rooms are available at the field but athletes may use locker rooms in the Merillat Complex. BASKETBALL: Games are played in Platt Arena. The visiting team will be directed to a locker room upon their arrival to the facility. BOWLING: The teams practice at Oak Lanes Bowling Center located at 235 Hauenstein Road in Huntington. CROSS COUNTRY: The course is located north of campus off Gragg and Stults Roads. No locker rooms are available at the course but athletes may use locker rooms in the Merillat Complex. GOLF: The team rotates practice at various local courses. SOCCER: Games are played on the field located behind the Merillat Complex. The visiting team bench is at the east end of the field. Locker rooms are available inside the Merillat Complex. SOFTBALL: Games are played at the field on the corner of U.S. 24 and Guilford near the Merillat Complex. The visiting team uses the third base dugout. No locker rooms are available at the field but athletes may use locker rooms in the Merillat Complex. TENNIS: Matches are played on the courts off of the Merillat Complex field house. Locker rooms are available inside the Merillat Complex. TRACK & FIELD: The track is located behind the Merillat Complex, around the perimeter of the soccer field. No locker rooms are available at the field but athletes may use locker rooms in the Merillat Complex. VOLLEYBALL: Games are played in Platt Arena. The visiting team will be directed to a locker room upon their arrival to the facility. Locker room space for men s and women s basketball games and volleyball matches will be automatically reserved. For all other sports, please contact Russ Lawson at 260-359-4289 or rlawson@huntington.edu if you would like to officially reserve locker room space. ATHLETIC TRAINING INFORMATION The HU athletic training staff will provide the following for visiting teams: 1. Staff athletic trainer at every varsity in season contest 2. Water, ice, cups and ice bags 3. Service for teams without an athletic trainer. We do ask that you provide tape and

any other necessary materials. We also ask that athletes bring a treatment information sheet signed from their athletic trainer. HU utilizes Parkview Huntington Hospital that is approximately five minutes from the University. DIRECTIONS TO HUNTINGTON UNIVERSITY Huntington University is located at the intersection of US 24 and Guilford Street on the north side of Huntington, Indiana. From the North: From Fort Wayne, take I-69 South to Exit 302 and follow U.S. 24 to Huntington. Continue on US 24 west to the stoplight at Guilford Street. Turn left. The entrance to the Merillat Complex will be on your left. From the South: From Indianapolis, take I-69 north. At Exit 278 (Warren) take state road 5 north to Huntington. Go straight through the light at the corner of SR 5 and Hwy 224. Continue north to US 24, a double-lane highway at the top of a hill. Turn left (west) and continue on US 24 until you reach the stoplight at Guilford Street. Turn left. The entrance to the Merillat Complex will be on your left. From the East: From Decatur, Indiana, or Van Wert, Ohio, take Highway 224 east to Broadway Ave. (You can t miss the 4-way stop at Bud s Fishin Hole). Turn right onto Broadway. Go north to the second double-lane highway which is US 24. Turn left (west) and continue on US 24 until you reach the stoplight at Guilford Street. Turn left. The entrance to the Merillat Complex will be on your left. From the West: From Wabash, Logansport, or Lafayette, take 24 east to Huntington, jogging left at the Historic Forks of the Wabash Park. Continue on US 24 to the stoplight at Guilford Street. Turn right. The entrance to the Merillat Complex will be on your left.
