LEADERSHIP ACADEMY 2016/2017 YEAR IN REVIEW
Letter from The Director The third year of the Leadership Academy brought expanded realization of our tremendous talent pipeline, with enrollment eclipsing 200 and the number of graduates growing exponentially. This summary for 2016/2017 offers a glimpse of the past year numbers, activities, a few highlights, and a Save the Date for our kickoff Summit this fall (Oct 28 th, 2017). The Academy has quickly become a recognized force for the acceleration of leadership potential. Current members and new alumni are sought after for highlycompetitive internships and professional roles. Along with delivering on our objective to empower graduates with essential leadership skills, we are now being looked to by others interested in learning from us. An exciting example of this is a presentation on our program at the International Leadership Association s 2017 Global Conference this fall in Brussels, Belgium. We will not rest on our success, and are moving forward with several program enhancements to make the Academy even more accessible, scalable, and integrative to the student experience. I am excited to continue this extraordinary trajectory with all of you. As always, thanks for your continued involvement and support! Go Beavs! Scott Paja, Director COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING 2
